The 2007 - 2008 Clifford Lectures will take place on the campus of Tulane University from Wednesday, March 12 through Saturday, March 15, 2008. This year’s Clifford Lecturer is Professor Samson Abramsky, who holds the Christopher Strachey Chair in Computing at the University of Oxford, UK. Samson’s theme for the series is,
Information Flow in Physics, Geometry, Logic and Computation.
Samson will give five lectures during the lecture series. In addition to Samson’s lectures, thirteen other distinguished
researchers will give one-hour lectures on the theme of the series. The additional speakers are:

There is no charge to attend any of the lectures, but there is a fee for those who wish to participate in the additional activities, including the lunches and the conference dinner. The registration fee to take lunch with the group is $60, and the fee for the conference dinner, which will take place on Saturday evening, March 15, is $80.

The Hampton Inn is especially convenient to the Tulane campus, since the St. Charles Avenue streetcar is once again running.
